MIDIKI OF NORTHERN GREECE has a complex for the storage and drying of maize, having as goal to supply adequate quantities of maize of guaranteed quality and the capacity of trade of cereals.
In more detail, at the facilities of the company are installed cereal storage silos. Furthermore, an ultramodern maize dryer has been installed, equipped with an air condition unit, which:
cools the dried maize to 7-8 ºC, so that there is a minimal loss of its nutritional value, in contrast with traditional dryers, which use air with ambient temperature and humidity in order to cool the maize.
